Our 30-Day Returns Policy
We provide a 30-day return window for all items, whether you have changed your mind or if the item is faulty. This policy is in addition to your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
Your Legal Right to Cancel Your Order (Cooling-off Period)
For most items bought online, you have a legal right to cancel your order under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.
- Cancellation Period: You can cancel your order for any reason from the moment you place it until 30 calendar days from the day you receive all the items in your order.
- Time to Return: Once you have informed us that you wish to cancel, you have another 30 calendar days to send the goods back to us.
How to Initiate a Return or Refund

Please provide your order number and details of the item(s) you wish to return.
1. Faulty or Not as Described Items
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, all goods must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose, and as described.
- Within 30 Days of Receipt: If your item is faulty, not as described, or not functioning properly, you have a short-term right to reject the goods and receive a full refund.
- After 30 Days (up to 6 months): If a fault develops after 30 days, we will offer a repair or replacement. Only if the repair or replacement is unsuccessful or impossible can you then claim a full refund or price reduction.
- Return Costs for Faulty Items: We will cover all reasonable costs of return shipping for faulty items. We will also refund the original standard delivery cost you paid.
Special Process for Faulty Items:
If the item you receive is faulty, please provide a clear photo or video showing the issue within 30 days of receipt. Once your evidence is reviewed and approved, we may issue a full refund immediately without requiring you to return the item.
2. Unwanted Items (Changed Your Mind/No Longer Needed)
If you wish to return an item that is not faulty (e.g., wrong size/colour, or you simply changed your mind), you can do so within your 30-day cancellation window.
- Condition of Returns: Items should be returned in their original condition and packaging. You are allowed to handle the goods to check their nature, characteristics, and functioning (similar to how you would in a shop), but we may make a deduction from your refund if the value of the goods has been diminished by excessive handling or misuse.
- Refund Amount: We will issue a full refund for the price of the item(s). Since all orders receive Free Shipping, there are no original delivery costs to refund.
- Return Shipping Costs: You are responsible for the cost of returning the item(s) to us in this scenario.
3. Sale Items
- Sale Items: You have the same legal rights to a refund on sale items as you do for regular-priced products, unless we specifically pointed out a fault before you bought it.
4. Warranty Policy
Your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 are separate from and in addition to any manufacturer’s warranty. The manufacturer’s warranty cannot replace or limit your legal rights.
Rydengear offers a 1-year warranty from the purchase date covering defects caused by faulty materials or workmanship. This warranty gives you rights to a repair or replacement at no cost to you. Damage resulting from improper use, dropping, or deliberate misuse is not covered.
How and When You Will Be Refunded
We will process your refund without undue delay, typically within 7 days of receiving the goods back, or 7 days after you provide evidence that you have returned them (whichever is earlier).
Refunds will be issued using the original payment method (e.g., back to your credit card or PayPal account) unless we expressly agree otherwise with you.
